Circular Berlin Information

Circular Berlin (Circular City – Zirkuläre Stadt e.V.) is a non-profit organisation driving the transition toward a circular economy in Berlin and beyond.Our work is grounded in the vision of a regenerative, citizen-oriented city that uses resources responsibly, closes material loops, and puts people at the centre of systemic change. As a platform and catalyst, we connect research, education, policy, and practice to shape tangible pathways for circular transformation. We run pilot projects, deliver educational formats, and build strong cross-sector networks with a focus on high-impact areas like construction, textiles, urban development, electronics, food, and biomass. Today, our community includes more than 150 members and over 220 partner organisations, all working together to put circularity into action. Our work is aimed at policymakers, public institutions, businesses, startups, educational institutions, civil society actors, and engaged citizens who want to co-create sustainable, systemic solutions.
