Circle Partnership Information

Circle Health runs a range of healthcare services in three main areas: hospitals, rehabilitation and management services. We provide these across a range of clinical areas, but have a particular expertise in orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions. Circle Bath Hospital and Circle Reading Hospital are high-end, world-class independent hospitals, that opened in 2010 and 2012. Both offer a wide range of surgery and treatments with some of the UK’s leading consultants. The hospitals combine clinical excellence with five-star hospitality, with architect-designed facilities, dedicated hospitality staff, and food from a Michelin-star trained chef. The Circle Nottingham NHS Treatment Centre is Europe’s largest treatment centre. The centre is commissioned by local NHS leaders to provide a range of elective surgery and treatments, and has established a reputation as a trusted local hospital and an integral part of the local healthcare system. Healthcare management In 2014, we started a contract to run musculoskeletal services in Bedfordshire. This innovative contract is known as a ‘prime vendor’ or ‘capitated budget’ contract, where Circle is responsible for organising around 20 other service providers in the region. This coordination means that services are more integrated, provide a much more joined-up experience for the patient, and means the NHS provides services which remain free at the point of use – but cost a lot less. In 2017, we launched our new, state-of-the-art rehabilitation service, Circle Rehabilitation. This is an exclusive partnership between Circle Health and one of Europe’s leading rehabilitation providers, VAMED. Together we bring the latest and best in rehabilitation, building upon the expertise of Circle’s large UK network of clinicians and VAMED’s thirty years experience delivering a robust and intensive rehabilitation model worldwide.
