Circle Bell Motorsports is the premier promoter of the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) Pro Racing’s Grand National Flat Track series. For 30 years, Sports Apparel Marketing, the parent company of Circle Bell, was the leader in licensed products for the AMA, the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), and the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA). In 1998, Sports Apparel Marketing sold its licensed product rights and closed its doors. However, in 2010, with over 40 years in the motorsports industry and the constant itch to make big things happen, Bob Bellino, President of Sports Apparel Marketing, saw an opportunity to bring AMA Grand National Flat Track racing back to Northern California, where it had been absent since 1999. Bob created the Calistoga Half Mile National in 2010 and since then has reinvigorated enthusiasm for flat track racing with the return of the historic Sacramento Mile and Santa Rosa Mile. Circle Bell Motorsports prides itself in promoting events that allow fans to walk away knowing that they were a part of: 1) some of the most thrilling, heart-pounding racing they’ve ever witnessed 2) a smooth and positive experience, from the moment they started ticket research and purchases until they left the parking lot and went online to see post-event media coverage and 3) a fun atmosphere that welcomed and wrapped them in the sport and industry.
