CIP is a family owned and operated business that has been serving Alberta for 35 plus years in Calgary. In July of 2011 CIP purchased the equipment division of Looker Office Equipment & Furniture in Red Deer. Looker had a 48 year foothold in Red Deer for Office Equipment and Furniture. CIP has always been the leader in service. We are a "YES" company that works with our existing and new clients to ask the right questions and understand your business, your successes and struggles. With that information we suggest and provide the best solution for your business. Terry Guhl had been a service technician with Looker for over 18 years and stayed on with the acquisition by CIP. By the end of 2012, Terry was offer the role of Service Account Manager. This role moved him from managing only the service of the customers in Red Deer and Central Alberta, but also the sales accounts and day to day requirements of the branch. Over the past eight years Terry’s focus has been to grow the CIP brand in Red Deer and grow his base of customers by listening doing what's right by for customer. Terry's 30 years of long standing customers and strong relationships have continued to make the Red Deer branch extremely successful. Wanting long term relationships means Terry wants to provide the right machine at the right price so in 3-5 years, your complete satisfaction ensures another opportunity in the future. CIP is about New Technology and Old Fashioned Service. What that means is we have live people answering your calls. Our Predictive Service Model ensures parts are replaced at 70% life, before they expire, ensuring maximum up time. By continuing to focus on service before sales, CIP continues to rely on word of mouth to grow our business. We feel that positive word of mouth is a true reflection of whether or not we are doing a great job. In 2016 Terry joined a referral networking organization called BNI, which has offered additional success.
