CineRegio Information

CineRegio is the European network of regional film funds and audiovisual agencies, bringing together regions that invest in film and audiovisual culture. CineRegio AISBL was established in May 2005, as a Belgian non-profit association. Today the network has grown to represent 52 members across 16 European countries (13 EU Member States, plus Norway, Switzerland and the UK). Together, they invest around €275 million in film and audiovisual production every year. The members offer a wide range of funding schemes and services to the film sector, strengthening film culture, encouraging social cohesion and developing regional infrastructure. Regional film support plays a vital role in safeguarding Europe’s cultural diversity, strengthening regional ecosystems and democratic empowerment, and enabling stories, talent and productions to travel across borders.
