The Biomedical Research Centre (Centro de Investigacións Biomédicas), CINBIO is a multidisciplinary research centre from University of Vigo. It emerged to create a common infrastructure for biomedical experts and it offers research services, it hosts the bio-experimental facilities and a new BSL-3 laboratory, the only one in the whole Nordwest Region. We are over 200 people related to research, including professors, doctors, PhD students, and lab technicians; originally grouped in INBIOMED, over ten years working in collaboration with the hospitals of the region, other universities, industry, regional and local governments
