Falling in love with the beautiful Texas Hill Country, Joe Shepard and his wife of 38 years, Barbara Shepard, travelled all the way from the wine country of Sonoma County, California and purchased their lots at Cielo Rio Ranch in 2007. It was just the following year they built their dream home and were in fact one of the original residents of Cielo Rio Ranch. Joe and Barbara formed Lantana Land Company, LLC in 2015 to purchase Cielo Rio Ranch. So your development owners are also your neighbors! From the point of view of a long-term resident, Joe and Barbara say that they have been blessed with the ability to finally finish the development and are excited to finish this community and see it flourish.
