The California Cider Company was founded in 1993 by Jeffrey House, a British Beer & Cider Marketer with experience importing British and European beer and cider brands to the USA. The company is still owned and operated by the House Family.
The California Cider Company's brand "Ace Cider" was the first hard cider to be made in California and one of the original American hard cider brands. It is the longest running independent cider company in the USA.
The cidery operates in the rich fruit-growing county of Sonoma in the Northern San Francisco Bay Area with a cider tasting room in Sebastopol. All Ace Ciders are gluten free and are made all-naturally without added sugar.
