Chrome Roads is building a unified enterprise security platform for identity, authorization, communications, and physical-world security. Our technology is designed to help organizations answer two increasingly important questions: Who is requesting access or taking an action? And what, exactly, were they authorized to do? A major focus of our work is protecting high-value and high-consequence actions. Authentication can establish identity; Chrome Roads is designed to go further by cryptographically binding authorization to the action itself. For a wire transfer, that means being able to prove not only who approved it, but that they approved this amount, to this destination, under these terms. The same principle can apply to sensitive document transfers, customer communications, enterprise approvals, industrial controls, physical access, and other critical transactions — across web, mobile, messaging, voice, email, and other channels. As digital transactions become more complex and AI systems increasingly act on behalf of people and organizations, we believe proving identity alone will not be enough. It should also be possible to prove intent. Our vision is to connect digital identity, transaction authorization, communications, physical access, location, and trusted endpoints into a single enterprise-controlled security architecture. We’re working with technology providers, integrators, enterprises, and other partners interested in bringing stronger identity and transaction security into real-world customer environments.
