"Christine Phung" is a Paris based Womenswear brand, hybriding Couture techniques and Sportswear lines, founded in 2011. Christine Phung is an award-winning designer whose signature collection is both delicate and boldly architectural. It moves effortlessly between structured and fluid lines. Ms. Phung is passionate about how fabrics fall and the richness of their touch. The result of her interests is a collection that is both discreetly seductive and resolutely modern. Ms. Phung was raised in France by a Cambodian father and a French mother. Thanks to this dual culture, Ms. Phung has a strong appreciation of printed fabrics and materials. She studied fashion design at École Duperré and Institut Français de la Mode and soon began working for companies including Christophe Lemaire, Chloé, Vanessa Bruno, Lacoste and Baby Dior. In 2008, she exhibited her designs at the Museum of Modern Art in Liège for its International Design Biennial. Ms. Phung won the Paris Grand Prix of creation in 2011 and was finalist of the 2012 Mango Fashion Awards. In 2013, Christine Phung won the ANDAM First Collections Prize.
