Christenson Construction was established in 1943 by Walter Christenson. Although missing an arm, it never slowed him down. With his there is always a way belief, cheerful attitude, and quality craftsmanship he was able to establish himself and the company with many of the cottagers and residents of both the shores, and islands of Parry Sounds Georgian Bay area, many of them becoming friends and repeat customers. After years of working along side his father Ken Christenson took over the company in 1985. Ken has worked closely with his clients throughout his career, to ensure that the visions of their projects become a reality. Employing skilled tradesmen with a similar belief in quality and customer satisfaction he continued to build upon the company reputation. His personal touch, friendly attitude, as well as that of his skilled tradesmen, has earned the company many more friends and repeat clients. The company s skill in achieving our clients visions has created a repeat clientele accounting for about 80% of our business. In January of 2012 long time supervisor, and vital member of management, Sam Stone was chosen to take over the company. His hands on approach to projects, experience, and eye for quality craftsmanship made him Kens obvious choice to continue the Christenson Construction tradition. Sam and his skilled tradesman continue the tradition that has allowed Christenson Construction to grow and thrive for almost 70 years, helping our clients realize their building visions with quality craftsmanship.
