CHPTA Information

The Canadian Home Products Trade Association (CHPTA) has been serving the Hardware and Housewares industry since 1968. Initially, the CHPTA was a lobby group formed to represent the interests of manufacturers to government and retail/distributor customers. Today, the CHPTA is a national non-profit organization comprised of over 200 companies who manufacture and distribute hardware and housewares products. While lobby efforts are still a major part of the Association's mandate, the CHPTA also hosts numerous business functions, social events and networking opportunities each year providing significant value to its members. In addition, the Association is constantly searching for, and developing new ways to reduce the member's cost of doing business
