The Physio Company is a fresh, innovative and forward thinking private Chartered Physiotherapy provider. We have 26 Chartered Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinics throughout Ireland. Since its inception in 2007, The Physio Company has grown to become the largest private Chartered Physiotherapy provider in Ireland. The Irish family owned medical company was founded by Chief Executive Stuart McGoldrick and his wife Anne, who is the Director of Medical Services of the company. Together they have combined clinical excellence with best business practices to bring a modern approach to private practice Chartered Physiotherapy. The Physiotherapy Centre has been established in Sittingbourne since 1992. With continued success and growth the Centre moved to the self-contained premises it occupies today, providing three treatment rooms on two floors, a cervical and lumbar traction area, a rehabilitation area, reception, staff room and teaching area. The Practice Principal, Karen Fawcett, joined the original founder of The Physiotherapy Centre, Patricia Bartley, in 1998. She became a partner in the practice in 2003 and then became owner and principal in 2012 when Patricia retired from clinical practice. Paul Devitt, Ben Muvhuti, Sarah Stockbridge, Clare Triggs, Liz Wilson-Smith and Susan Rhodes work alongside Karen as Physiotherapists and together with various associates to the practice, they form a highly skilled team at The Physiotherapy Centre with many years of experience and expertise to meet the needs of our patients. Each member of the physiotherapy team has specialist areas of expertise which include Manipulative Therapy, Sports Science , Biomechanics, Muscle Imbalance and Acupuncture. Physiotherapists working at The Physiotherapy Centre are members of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, The Organisation of Physiotherapists in Private Practice Physio First and are registered with the Health Professions Council. Our Administration team deal with the day to day running of the practice and are the first contact you will have with The Physiotherapy Centre. Any queries can be directed to our administration staff in the first instance and will be dealt with as quickly and efficiently as possible.
