China Horse Club Information

The China Horse Club (CHC) was established by its Founder and Chairman, Teo Ah Khing, to be Asia’s premier lifestyle, business and thoroughbred racing club. Since its inception it has built exceptional relationships with leaders of business and the thoroughbred industry, won some of the world’s highest profile races and has a growing list of achievements. The China Horse Club is supported by the CHC International Advisory Council (IAC). These accomplished council members are from fields as diverse as humanity, public service, business, finance, education and the thoroughbred industry. Under the leadership of former President of the UN General Assembly and former President of the Swiss Confederation, Professor Dr. Joseph Deiss, the council members are Sir Owen Glenn (New Zealander philanthropist), John Magnier (owner of Coolmore), John Warren (Bloodstock Advisor for Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II), Andreas Jacobs (Chairman of Investment Firm Jacobs Holdings AG), Poh Choon Ann (Group Chairman and CEO of Poh Tiong Choon Logistics Group), Wayne Wang (Chairman, CEO and Founder of CDP Group, Limited) and Teo Ah Khing (Chairman and Founder of TAK Group and CHC). China Horse Club members have enjoyed a wonderful record of success as racehorse owners winning prestigious races in eight different countries including the 2014 Epsom Derby (world’s most famous race); 2014 Irish Derby and 2015 Caulfield Guineas among a growing list and been presented with awards such as the 2014 Longines IFHA Co-World Champion Three-Year-Old; 2015 Australian Horse of the Year Award; 2015 NSW Horse of the Year Award; 2015 Victorian Horse of the Year Award. Membership at the China Horse Club is entry into a unique world. Members are provided with bespoke experiences as well as the opportunity to race thoroughbreds at events in China, such as the CECF (China Equine Cultural Festival), and at some of international racing’s most iconic carnivals.
