China Guangfa Bank (CGB), founded in September 1988 with the approval of the State Council and People’s Bank of China as a piloting bank for the Chinese financial policy reform, is one of the earliest-incorporated joint stock commercial banks. CGB's continuous expansion over more than two decades of endeavor serves as the testimony of every progress China has achieved in economic liftoff and financial policy reform. By the end of December 2010, it has total assets amounting to RMB 814.7 billion.
