CFGNZC is a subsidiary company of China Forest Group Corporation (CFGC). Headquartered in Auckland, the company’s main businesses include forest ownership, harvesting, transportation, sales and export for wood products, development of forest resource and storage logistics services. China Forestry Group Corporation is a comprehensive forestry enterprise, set up by the original nine enterprises directly under the State Forestry Administration in 1996, and started to operate in 2001. The corporation is mainly engaged in cultivating fast-growing and high-yield plantations domestically, management and reserve of forest resources internationally, production, processing and import and export of bamboo and wood products, forest products and forest tree seedlings. The corporation provides forest tourism service as well as fuel and forest fire fighting equipments and other supporting services for the large state-owned forest regions. The business covers from cultivation, forestry development and utilization of resources in forest products trade both at home and abroad, circulation and other key links. The Corporation is currently the only forestry industry supervised by SASAC. The group of subsidiaries of the corporation, were all founded between the end of 1970's to 1990's. The companies were basically established in accordance with each part and the business field of forestry industrial chain. The corporation has six wholly-owned subsidiaries in China, holding and operating more than 70 enterprises altogether. And those companies have set up production bases and business outlets in New Zealand, Russia, Singapore, Burma and other countries.
