Children's Trust Fund of Oregon Information

– Working Together to End Child Abuse in Oregon – The Children’s Trust Fund of Oregon was launched by the state of Oregon nearly 30 years ago to provide opportunities for public and private investment in child abuse prevention. As Oregon’s only statewide organization focused exclusively on the issue of child abuse prevention, the Trust Fund provides strategic investments in proven prevention programs around Oregon, public awareness and education campaigns related to child abuse prevention and research and policy work on emerging best practice in this field. The Trust Fund is supported by nearly 10,000 donors each year who are working together to end child abuse in Oregon. The Trust Fund has galvanized this support to invest almost $10 million in best practice child abuse prevention programs around the state. Grants from the Children's Trust Fund to local prevention programs across Oregon result in tens of thousands of children and families benefiting from parent education, home visitation, family support services and intensive prevention efforts like Oregon's relief nurseries. The Children's Trust Fund also generates public awareness and education about abuse prevention through educational campaigns and media outreach.
