Childrens Therapy Services Information

CTS is a small pediatric occupational therapy clinic located in Marin County. We provide comprehensive services for children and youth. Our mission is to strengthen the foundational skills that support a child's success across all environments. Our goal is to help each child to develop an understanding of his own unique challenges and abilities, to strengthen the areas of challenge, and to build a repertoire of skills and tools for success at home, at school and in everyday life. As therapists we are trained in a wide range of intervention techniques which allow us to develop a targeted individualized program for each child. Our model is to have two therapists and two children using our space and interacting as they work. This approach provides opportunities for awareness of the needs of others and subsequent social skills development. We strive to respond to each family with consideration for their unique needs. We value clear communication and work with our families to develop appropriate home programs. We work as a team with families, schools, and other professionals to foster the child's sense of competency in problem solving. Together we celebrate the achievement of each stepping stone goal along the path to success.
