Child Rescue Network is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to empower children and families to help prevent child sexual abuse, abductions and victimization, such as human trafficking. CRN raises awareness of the issues of abduction and sexual victimization and provides our Empowerment Not Fear safety seminars to help educate parents on how to best protect their children by teaching them to recognize potentially dangerous situations and then how to react should the need arise. We do this while showing parents the importance of building confidence in our kids, teaching them about personal boundaries, and establishing open lines of communication within the family. We also provide safety identification cards for parents to have of their kids that include the child's photo, thumbprint, and vital statistics. In addition, CRN assists in the search efforts to reunited missing kids with their families. CRN utilizes a speaker's bureau, Internet and social media, print and broadcast media, and strategic partnerships to spread the word of the extreme need for our safety programs. One of Child Rescue Network's biggest initiatives is to eliminate "Stranger Danger". The whole concept of protecting children by making them afraid of everyone is truly a national tragedy that can have a negative impact long into adulthood. The fact is that 93% of sexually abused children are assaulted by someone they know! CRN teaches parents to empower kids, not terrify them. Empowerment Not Fear!
