Founded in Los Angeles in 1923 by Alejandro and Rosa Borquez, El Cholo has been family owned and operated for 97 years. Currently it has six restaurants in Los Angeles and Orange County.
Founded in 1972 as Malo Tricot, the brand began a journey spun across five decades — creating knitwear that captures time, touch, and quiet luxury. At a time when fine knitwear bore only Scottish or English labels, Malo reimagined luxury from an Italian perspective: vibrant, sensual, and alive with artistry.
