It continues to be a pillar of the community and develop NHL players annually. As a member of the nation's only Tier I junior hockey league (USHL), the Stars have helped develop many NHL players most recently: Cayden Primeau (Montreal Canadiens) Zach Aston-Reece (Pittsburgh Penguins) Ryan Poehling (Montreal Canadiens) and annually have several players drafted to the NHL.
