Chestnut Engineering is a service-oriented consulting engineering firm with a focus on quality of design. We endeavor to develop flexible solutions that fit the needs of our clients and their budget. Our areas of expertise lie within the mechanical and electrical disciplines of the built environment. We are proficient with BIM techniques using Autodesk Revit software as well as traditional AutoCAD products. Our location is in the western suburbs of Philadelphia, PA, ideally situated for serving markets in the Mid-Atlantic States. Chestnut Engineering was conceived by three like-minded engineers while working together at a consulting engineering firm. The engineers were in search of a mutually beneficial business opportunity. But what? After work debate ensued at small restaurants and bars near the office along Chestnut Street. Finally, the choice became clear…the three must branch out. The decision was to start anew, much like planting a seed and nurturing the young sapling to grow into a strong tree. But what of the name? After much deliberation, consensus grew for what became the common thread to this new enterprise: “Chestnut”. Hence, Chestnut Engineering was formed.
