Chess Odyssey was founded in 2002 to help kids grow as chess players, and-more importantly-as people. That mission guides all our programs-chess clubs, chess camps, tournaments, and private instruction. It runs through our curriculum and program design, and is the foundation for our twin measures of success: learning and laughter . Some of our kids are state champions. (We've had the honor of training 104 of them.) Others are just learning how knights move. Most are somewhere in between. We treasure each and every one of them. Happy, excited kids who are growing as people and as chess players are what we are all about.
