An experimental publishing, design and production agency focused on cutting-edge methods of curation and craftsmanship. Working largely as a publishing house, CHERRYBOY was originally an annual, self-published art and culture magazine. It was founded in 2016 by Phia Bowden as a solo project alongside her studies at Central Saint Martins. To make the company profitable, in 2019, Phia transformed the nature of CHERRYBOY, expanding it into a production, design and publishing agency. Phoebe Manley, a dear friend of the house, joined as co-producer in 2021. It is well known as a host of public events (art exhibitions, immersive and interactive music experiences), art multiples through the lens of art, fashion, and contemporary culture including products and merchandise, while still producing the annual CHERRYBOY magazine. CHERRYBOY magazine editions are available in stores and libraries around the world including London, New York, South Korea and South East Asia - all back editions are available at The British Library.
