It started in 1947 producing Chinese candies like Hawthorne & preserved fruits but quickly switched to manufacturing Rock Sugar, Red/Black Jaggery Sugar in the 1950s. Today, the 3rd generation family business continues the tradition of manufacturing but also adding soft commodity trading, logistics and a food incubator in the list. The company is proud to produce “Made in Singapore” brands like Star, Cheng, Jewels Rock Sugar Sticks, D’Petite Baker, etc, for B2B as well as B2C in Singapore and the region.
