Aesop was established in Melbourne in 1987. Our objective has always been to formulate skin, body and hair care products of the finest quality, as well as fragrance and accessories for the self and home. All Aesop products are vegan. We do not test on animals and only use ingredients with a proven record of safety, efficacy and sustainability. We are on a journey to reduce our footprint on the planet that generously sustains us. So far, our progress has led to Aesop becoming a certified B Corp™. Alongside our commercial activities, we explore and support the arts as an avenue through which to inspire, learn and communicate. We are headquartered across two locations—Melbourne and London—with satellite offices and stores in many parts of the world, including New York, Paris, Tokyo and Hong Kong. Aesop has carefully cultivated a work environment in which our employees are constantly challenged to do their best. Our work encompasses graphics and identity, architecture and interiors, products and packaging, exhibitions and installations, websites and digital experiences, advertising and communications. Our 24 partners are all practicing designers, and whether they are working collaboratively or independently, they always do so in friendship. Our structure is unique. We are the only major design studio where the owners of the business are the creators of the work and serve as the primary contact for every client. This reflects our conviction that great design cannot happen without passion, intelligence and — above all — personal commitment, and is demonstrated by a portfolio that spans five decades and all industries.

We create the perfect balance between a design boutique, focusing on the development of creative pieces paying attention to the smallest of details, and a business consultancy providing solutions based on the analysis of tangible data to generate best fit applications. Our services reach all of the branding spectrum from strategic consulting to fine tune brand objectives for the company to logotype, peripherals and captivating illustration design. Since our creation, we decided to break the traditional creative agency scheme, integrating multidisciplinary teams of creative and business experts.
