Check-me provides a multi-pronged approach for sporting clubs and its members to build social connections and safe environments to manage mental health Check-me allows club officials to monitor how their members feel on any given day in a non-invasive way utilising the power of technology Check-me provides an opportunity for members to connect with a trusting member of their sporting club to initiate conversations Sporting clubs play a critical role in enhancing the positive mental health of its members by ensuring they feel safe, connected and supported. However, not all sporting clubs are currently equipped to undertake such a significant role 24/7. Mental health can effect performance on and off field, this can be prevented if monitored and communicated, club officials do not have a clear understanding of the size of the mental health problem in the environment they manage. Mental health doesn't discriminate and can effect anyone throughout their professional journey. Check-me is developed as a stand-alone application An automated notification (as defined by the club) is sent to the club's members to check-in on how they are feeling Member responses are automatically directed to a trusting member of their club. The algorithm and data that tracks the players journey across a season and can influence selection and criteria, with Instant feedback to coaching staff providing detailed progress of a player’s wellbeing. Check-me has been developed in consultation with health professionals and experts in Mental Health, utilising common language and icons to facilitate engagement and maintain user experience
