~CHEBUCTO CONNECTIONS is a registered charity in Nova Scotia that serves Spryfield & District, creating & attracting programs in response to input from residents. Established as an agency built on collaborative relationships, Chebucto Connections has earned a reputation of character & integrity as the catalyst in building the area’s social capital for 34 years. Its Multi-Service Roundtable has been a pillar for communication, partnerships, & relationships among service providers, spawning multiple inter-agency committees & initiatives. Chebucto Connections adds value by: 1. Working with community to identify & address local issues & priorities 2. Nurturing the rich capacity of the community for the overall benefit of residents of all ages While we serve people of all ages, recent community consultations have directed much our work toward children & youth. In particular, children & youth who face the greatest risk of getting their lives derailed at an early age. These are also the children who, given the right opportunities & support, can grow into our great leaders & champions of tomorrow. Chebucto Connections programs are free of charge thanks to the generosity of individuals, businesses, governments & organizations.
