ChaseWind (追風科技股份有限公司) is a Taipei-based AR smart-glasses company founded in 2016. We design AR glasses together with the apps and cloud services behind them, putting AI assistance in the wearer's line of sight so people can ride, learn and work hands-free. Milestones • 2015–2018: Started with smart glasses for cyclists, a heads-up display connected to bike sensors (Bluetooth LE / ANT+) showing heart rate, cadence, speed and power, plus GPS navigation, voice chat and SOS alerts. The team won the 2015 Smart City competition and a Bluetooth SIG award, and joined the FITI program and the SYSTEX 2018 accelerator. • Dec 2024: With ITRI and Harvatek, built Taiwan's first Micro LED AR glasses, bright enough for outdoor use. ChaseWind delivered the optical design and manufacturing and the glasses assembly, with AI live speech translation (Chinese, English, Japanese). • Dec 2025: With ITRI and PlayNitride, unveiled Taiwan's first full-color, high-resolution Micro LED AI smart glasses: Full HD, 4,536 PPI, over 3,000 nits and under 1 W, with a voice-driven AI assistant. Supported by the MOEA Industrial Development Administration, the technology has been validated and deployed in smart education. • Industrial AR: AI glasses for wafer fabs and medical institutions, including Angel, an AR voice assistant for semiconductor fab technicians with voice-driven workflows, QR-based SOPs and task lists, on-device object detection, photo capture and Microsoft Teams calls with remote experts.
