Charnaud was founded in Western Australia in 1997. The Company's founder and Managing Director, Ben Charnaud, is qualified in Estate Management and is a professional member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (UK property professional qualification) and a member of the Australian Property Institute. Ben Charnaud brings to Charnaud a wide range of experience and expertise. He is a Land Economics expert with over 25 years experience in the Property Industry. He has expert knowledge in the following areas: Asset Management of Commercial offices and Retail Asset Management Strategic planning and development of resorts in the beautiful Margaret River region. Planning and Project Management of land subdivisions Membership of the Property Council Executive Committee Included in his many years of experience Ben Charnaud was a founding shareholder and Director of Acumen Capital. This Property Funds Management Company is now 100% owned by Brookfield Multiplex. More recently, in recognising his expertise and valuable contribution, Ben has had a term advising the Western Australian Tourism Taskforce. He has also been involved in the development of a number of prestigious resorts in the magnificent Southwest region of West Australia. These include the impressive resorts at Smiths Beach and Injidup.
