Community Charity Services was founded to serve the emerging fundraising and fund development needs of Canada's charities. There is an ever growing focus on the need for charities to find innovative ways of raising new revenue due to mounting donor fatigue and declining government program assistance. CCS's management has over 20 years of collective experience in helping non-profit and NGOs (non-governmental organizations) target and achieve their fundraising objectives through innovative programming. 1. CCS is governed by laws and privacy acts and has a secure system to handle your data and banking information. CCS is governed by the Federal Privacy Act. We cannot divulge any information regarding you or your family. Your information is kept secure to ensure your total privacy. Because we are working on your behalf as an organization we are also governed under the Ministry of the Attorney General with the Public Guardian Trustee Office, Charity Property Division. Our company is incorporated and therefore required to file reports to the Federal Government about our business. 2. Where do we bank? Presently, we bank with the Mennonite Credit Union and the Bank of Montreal. Any banking information is sent to them encrypted, and only they can access anything that CCS sends. Only the Chief Financial Officer of CCS and the bank have the access codes and transaction numbers for the Electronic Fund Transfers, Visa, and MasterCard.
