Fundraising Futures Community Interest Company (CIC) is launching as Charitable Travel in April 2020, the first ‘mainstream’ travel social enterprise in the UK market. Operating as a ‘travel-for-good’ company, a certified member of Social Enterprise UK, Charitable Travel is a leisure-focused retailer offering direct customers an array of holidays, hotels, flights and ancillary products whilst trading with purely social objectives. Company surpluses will be invested in charitable causes rather than being driven by the need to maximise profit for shareholders and owners.
