ChargeMate Information

ChargeMate helps EV charging operators reduce failed charging sessions, lower customer support costs, and improve driver experience using charger-aware AI. Across public Level 2 and DC fast charging networks, we see: • 2-3x more drivers served through our automated support platform vs incumbent call centers • >90% of issues resolved without human agents (<5% escalation rate) on chat • >50% reduction in inbound support calls from chat support alone Public EV charging is complex. When sessions fail, drivers get frustrated, support teams get overwhelmed, and operators lose revenue. Traditional support models, apps, call centers, generic chatbots, don’t scale and don’t understand what’s actually happening at the charger. ChargeMate solves this by delivering real-time, self-serve support directly at the station. ChargeMate is built on a patent-pending, charger-aware approach, trained on thousands of real-world driver interactions across 99% of EV models on the road today and hundreds of deployed charger hardware SKUs. Drivers get instant help without downloading an app or making a phone call, while operators deflect high-cost support interactions and recover lost charging revenue. Beyond issue resolution, ChargeMate provides operators with actionable insights into charger reliability, recurring failures, and maintenance priorities, helping teams improve uptime and network performance over time. ChargeMate is trusted by charging network operators internationally, backed by 500 Global and Tech Futures Group and a member of the ChargeX Consortium and Google for Startups program.
