Changing Chances CIC© is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company dedicated to improving the life chances of every child and young person — whatever challenges life throws in their way. We are driving a shift away from traditional behaviourist approaches towards neuroinclusive, trauma-informed education and coaching, so that children feel a strong sense of belonging, thrive in their environments, and grow into confident self-advocates. Through our flagship programme, The Empowerment Approach®, we integrate neurobiology, psychology, education and coaching to give young people — and the adults around them — a practical understanding of the brain and the tools to feel better, regulate better and achieve better. We empower parents and carers, teachers, school leaders and professionals because sustainable change happens when environments change. Our services include: • Empowerment Approach training for schools, families and professionals • Leadership coaching for Headteachers and school leaders • Young person and family coaching • Strength-based psychological assessments • Policy development and neuroinclusive practice consultancy • Supervision for professionals supporting vulnerable children We work across education, social care, youth justice, health, foster care and law enforcement — partnering with schools, local authorities and national organisations to embed sustainable, systemic change. As a CIC, we have no shareholders. Any surplus is reinvested directly into strengthening our programmes, widening access and scaling our impact.
