Change Init Information

Change Init is a strategy and design studio focused on the intersection of software, ecology, and empowerment. We are a collective of makers, strategists, and creatives addressing foresight-driven questions and igniting new ideas through design thinking, product innovation, and open collaboration models. We believe our material reality is a reflection of human ideas and believe that changing 'what is' requires 'what if'. Internally, we are currently building idea infrastructure for individuals and organizations to effectively track, share, and action new ideas; products in development are Thinkfish (B2C) and Innervate (B2B). Externally, our collaborators have included NGOs, corporations, startups, and universities on projects from rural travel innovation in India to e-democracy in sub-saharan Africa to waste management in Indonesia. We want to better understand, anticipate, and shape change, and believe that ideas can have consequences that influence how we live, think, and organize.
