Champagne DEVAUX Information

Founded in 1846 by the brothers Jules and Auguste Devaux, it was taken over by Madame Augusta Devaux, one of Champagne’s great characters who ran their companies with as much energy as skill. The step forward that she had initiated led to the company being renamed Maison Veuve A. Devaux on her death. As such, in 1987 her descendants entrusted the future of Devaux – a brand with a prestigious past and an exciting future – to Laurent Gillet, President of the “Union Auboise” (then supplier for the DEVAUX “Blanc de Noirs” champagne). Today the House of Champagne Devaux is found in the magnificent setting of the Manor at the Domaine de Villeneuve now restored to its former glory and splendour.
