Challenge Air Information

Challenge Air for Kids and Friends is a Texas-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering children and young adults with physical and developmental challenges through the thrill of flight. Through nationwide Fly Days, Challenge Air partners with communities and families to provide kids ages 7 to 21 the unforgettable experience of flying in small aircraft—piloted by both wheelchair and non-wheelchair aviators. By incorporating elements of occupational, recreational, and educational therapy, the Challenge Air program helps young participants break barriers, build confidence, and see beyond their perceived limitations. Founded with the mission of offering these incredible kids a new perspective—one from the sky, Challenge Air continues to inspire thousands to dream big and soar higher!
