Our collections celebrate Nepalese culture, innovating traditional Nepalese craft with modern design. We collaborate with local artisanal workshops and small businesses in Nepal, focusing on handmade, beautiful Tibetan rugs and homewares for an international home. We want to capture the very best of authentic and traditional Nepalese craftsmanship, with pieces that translate across a plethora of interior designs and styles. Each collection comes with its own unique identity and applies the intrigue of contemporary design to ancient practices, bringing the magic of one of Asia's oldest arts cultures into homes all over the world. Founded in 2017, CHACCRA started, like lots of projects of the heart, with a trip. Inspired by the incredibly brave and warm people we met, we wanted to find a way to preserve Nepal's captivating mix of cultures by fusing our love for art and design with Nepalese craftsmanship; creating a brand that not only celebrates Nepalese design but also nurtures a ceasing crafting culture. The desire to explore, preserve and innovate in a fair and rewarding environment is key to our collections. We look to the future with great optimism, with much inspiration from our present and we look forward to sharing our take on Nepalese culture.
