CGW is a collaboration between construction expertise, know-how, building ownership, and management professionalism. Both principles have a combined 30 years of experience in NYC properties. We are a well-rounded team of professionals that understand project management, scheduling, procurement, and scalability. Our hands-on approach doesn’t allow for anything to slip through the cracks and allows for all projects small or large to come in on time and in-budget every time. We understand our customer's needs and offer bespoke services based on the specific needs of each project. Fully licensed and insured in Manhattan and the boroughs, CGW works with top NYC expeditors and architects to help bring projects from initial design to completion. CGW Construction was formed in 2014 by Robert Wahba and Charles Cohen Robert Wahba: Robert started his career in the construction field in 2003 by importing and installing flooring of all kinds on mid and high-rise buildings for Manhattan's elite. He supplied and installed over 5 million square feet of flooring covering projects from 20,000 square feet to 500,000 square feet. In 2009 during the downturn, Robert started a PV solar installation company and a commercial roofing business that are both still active in NJ. More Core Commercial Roofing and Star Solar have supplied over 15 Megs of solar and over 10 million square feet of Commercial TPO Roofing all over the state. Charles Cohen: Charles Cohen is a well seasoned property manager and owner. He started his career in Manhattan real estate in 2004. Working on value add properties all over NYC, he continuously turned over properties and managed a portfolio that spans from Wall Street to 98th Street in Manhattan. Seeing a void in the market for great contractors for such projects, Charles teamed up with Robert to create a JV in Manhattan. With his knowledge of NYC properties and conditions and a property owner's perspective of construction projects, Charles is able to make sure CGW covers all aspects from an owners point of view.
