CFO Simplified is a Chicago-area consulting firm specializing in small to mid-sized businesses. The primary focus of the firm is the financial and operational needs of those businesses. This includes entrepreneur based and family based companies, from start-up to about $30 million per year in sales. Our goal is Cash Flow Management and Improvement, Profitability Improvement, and Financial Statement Visibility, which means that the owner should have financial reports that are clear enough so that he can make changes today that will make his business more profitable tomorrow. We develop a long term relationship with our clients, just as a CFO does with a large business, so that we can help the owner do the strategic financial planning necessary to guarantee him/her success, by installing internal controls and operational reporting improvements, and being there to help with whatever problems, issues or opportunities that present themselves. Having worked in many diverse industries, we approach each relationship with fresh eyes, enabling us to find ways of improving the operations of the company, which just leads to greater cash and profits for the owner.
