CFL is in business because there is a considerable demand for flexible, eco-friendly and cost-effective sea transport capacity and our vessels and operations were designed and built accordingly. Currently we own and operate a fleet of 12 multipurpose vessels, all sailing under the Dutch flag. Each vessel – whether it belongs to our Jumbo 6500 series or the Sole 10.000 type – has the highest scores on eco-performance and fuel-efficiency ratios of its class. Furthermore, they are designed to be extremely flexible in transporting project cargoes of unusual dimensions and in operating in an environment with few or no infrastructural capacities. This is what makes CFL fairly unique; on a global scale we constantly tailor our capacity and service propositions to the needs of shippers, charterers, other clients, and the environments in which they operate. Today CFL is a medium-sized shipping company. A group of 250 dedicated international seafarers, navigates our vessels around the globe safely and efficiently and delivers their cargoes anywhere, in time and in impeccable order. We offer our valued seafaring staff comfortable quarters, a challenging variety of destinations, attractive working conditions and ample development opportunities. Our 20 colleagues of CFL Shipmanagement support them from their office that looks out over the skyline of Amsterdam. From here they are responsible for technical management, purchasing, operations, crewing, QHSE and the financial administration of our fleet. Together we are CFL. Please come and join us.
