Cetix is an independent systems integrator and a proud member of the Ulmatec Group, with over 30 years' experience supplying industrial control systems and services. Headquartered in Rotherham with an additional office in Aberdeen, our team combines deep technical know-how with a culture built on long-term partnerships. Formed in 2007, Cetix was created through the merger of two highly respected businesses: Salem Automation, one of the UK's foremost systems integrators with a heritage stretching back almost a century, and Cetix AS, a leading Norwegian supplier of winch systems to the marine and offshore industry. That combined pedigree gives us genuine depth of experience to bring to every project. We've built a centre of excellence for delivering software, hardware, and turnkey engineered solutions, supporting clients across the full project lifecycle, from initial design concept and specification, through software and hardware design, to commissioning, maintenance, and support. Quality, safety, and environmental responsibility sit at the heart of how we operate. Cetix is accredited to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, and is CASS Safety Accredited. Our PLC, HMI, and SCADA experience spans the leading manufacturers in the industry, including ABB, Autronica, Aveva, Det-Tronics, Emerson, GE, Hima, Mitsubishi, Omron, Pilz, Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric, and Siemens. As independent integrators, we're free to recommend the right technology for the job rather than being tied to any single vendor. We work across oil and gas (onshore and offshore), petrochemical, nuclear, energy from waste and renewables, manufacturing, and pipeline control and monitoring, with particular strength in mission-critical and safety-related automation.
