The Country’s Exploration Services Company (CESCO) was established in 1975 to support the activities of mining and exploration industries of the state. Since its founding, it has been an important activist in the field of geological and exploration studies. Prior to 1994, the company’s activities were mainly focused on studying on geology, geophysics and geochemistry, core drilling and drilling exploratory tunnel. But since 1994, it has begun other activities such as mine preparation, mine blast, road construction, excavation, and mine extraction. Nowadays, the company is one of the biggest companies in exploration and earth moving operations as well as construction projects in Iran.
