This advance in preterm birth prevention created an acute need for a fast, accurate, and inexpensive way to measure cervical length to identify patients for life-saving treatment. The innovative CerviLenz® device is designed for immediate, reliable cervical length screening during a routine prenatal visit in any healthcare setting. Cervilenz Inc. was founded 2008 by Michael Ross, MD, MPH, Rosalyn Baxter-Jones, MD, and Dean Koch.
