CERTLOC Global is an independent, not-for-profit certification body dedicated to improving safety in ground disturbance through competency, training and independent certification in underground asset location. Our mission is to improve safety outcomes in ground disturbance by defining, assessing, and certifying competency in underground asset location. We deliver structured training and independent certification that enable individuals and organisations to locate assets accurately, apply consistent practices, and reduce the risk of utility strikes. We support, train, assess and certify individuals and organisations working around underground assets. We support Certified Locators, Certified Locating Organisations, asset owners, utilities, contractors, councils and others involved in ground disturbance, helping them build capability, promote consistent practices and improve safety outcomes. CERTLOC provides: • Training to develop knowledge and practical capability in underground asset location and ground disturbance safety. • Assessment against defined competency requirements. • Certification of individuals who demonstrate the required level of competency. • The Certified Locating Organisation (CLO) Program, delivered in partnership with Telstra, supporting organisations employing Certified Locators to meet the requirements for authorised access to the Telstra network. • Industry education and professional development programs that build the skills, knowledge and competency of underground asset locators, while promoting safer practices in damage prevention and pre-excavation management. CERTLOC is independent and committed to rigorous standards for underground asset location competency.
