C ERTCON Services, Inc. was established in 2001 to manage, monitor, and maintain certificates of insurance for various industries, as well as handle contracts for specific fields. Its creator and Director of Operations, Rick Carson, has been in the certificate and contract management business since 1994.   Rick designed and programmed the computer software that C ERTCON uses to track and analyze the certificates and contracts.   Rick has extensive knowledge of database design and software programming.   He also has extensive knowledge of insurance requirements and indemnity provisions in various contracts, sub-contracts, lease agreements, and master service agreements. Rick is well versed in various states' anti-indemnity acts, including the complicated, but critically important, Texas Oilfield Anti-Indemnity Statute.   He is also very knowledgeable on different wording in additional insured endorsements, waivers of subrogation, transfer of rights clauses, and contractual liability and employers liability inclusions and exclusions in insurance policies.
