erebral Diagnostics Canada Inc. is an Ontario-based start up company involved in the development of low cost real-time brain imaging systems as well as pain and sensory loss diagnostic systems. We are initially targeting the diagnosis of sleep and chronic pain. 50 million Americans suffer from pain and there is a complete absence of objective front line clinical diagnostic tests for most of these disorders. We plan to investigate additional medical applications of our brain imaging technologies in the future, such as systems for the early signs of Alzheimer's disease, which is an emerging problem with the aging population. There is a strong need to definitively diagnose these disorders in affordable and accessible ways for numerous reasons including: guiding treatment decisions, verifying a diagnosis to assist patients with insurance claims, and bringing clarity for the patient and health care professionals. Our mission is to become a leading international medical device and medical software company focused on diagnostics, and eventually treatments of disorders of the cerebral cortex.
