Surfing Australia is a National Sporting Organisation that was formed in 1963 to establish, guide and promote the development of surfing in Australia. Surfing Australia is the representative body on the International Surfing Association (ISA) of which there are 86 member countries and is recognised by the Australian Sports Commission, the Australian Olympic Committee and is a member of the Water Safety Council of Australia. Surfing is not just a sport, it’s one of the most desirable lifestyles in the world. With 85% of Australians living less than 50km from the coast it’s accessible to most people, and once learnt it’s a skill for life. There is momentum behind the sport in Australia from grass-roots community and participation, through the surfing events pathway, to our world-class elite athletes. Surfing’s inclusion at the Tokyo Olympics is testament to the groundswell of support of the sport globally. Our purpose is to create a healthier and happier Australia by enriching communities through surfing. Our vision is to continue to be one of Australia’s most loved sports, creating authentic heroes and champions to inspire the next generation to learn a skill for life.

Established in 1999, Surf Camp Australia is the original surf camp company providing absolute beginners with a taste of the Australian surfer’s lifestyle. Only 2 hours south of Sydney, our location at the pristine Seven Mile Beach National Park has been handpicked for its uncrowded waves and consistent surf. Trips start and finish in Sydney, providing guests with a one-off adventure, off the typical backpacker trail. Our mission is to create fond memories and lasting relationships whilst inspiring personal achievement and individualism. Our progressive surf course is 14 years in the making and guarantees the best possible start to surfing.

Surf Life Saving SA is the state's peak beach safety and rescue authority and is one of the largest volunteer-based organisations in Australia. "Our mission is to save lives on beaches through education, prevention and rescue services." A surf lifesaving club is the heart of any beach, providing better health outcomes for South Australians of all ages. It is a meeting place, a training college, a fitness and recreation centre, an emergency evacuation centre, conference room, social and wedding function centre that encourages physical activity and teaches important Australian values – volunteerism, family, leadership, teamwork, meeting challenges, and pursuing excellence.
