Center for International Relations and International Security Information

The Center for International Relations and International Security (CIRIS) was established by alumni of American Military University and Sigma Iota Rho, and officially incorporated in 2019 within the state of Delaware. CIRIS stands as a nonpartisan, nonprofit research institution committed to furnishing valuable insights and policy recommendations tailored to the needs of students, professionals, and decision-makers. Notably, CIRIS is spearheaded by veterans. At the core of our mission is the pursuit of research excellence and the advancement of International Relations and International Security at both local and global scales. CIRIS actively fulfills its mission by engaging in rigorous research endeavors, contributing scholarly articles, delivering educational initiatives, and serving as a pivotal nexus for fostering collaboration among students and professionals, thereby bridging the divide between these vital communities. Moreover, CIRIS distinguishes itself by its holistic approach. Beyond the academic realm of International Relations, our organization is deeply committed to addressing real-world issues on the ground. This includes collaborative efforts with students and professionals actively involved in areas such as combatting human trafficking. CIRIS translates these experiences into actionable policy recommendations, thus facilitating positive change for students, professionals, policymakers, and society at large.
