Center Construction Information

Since its founding in 1989, Center Construction has kept the tradition of being local while providing high quality construction services to the people of Plainview, Texas and surrounding areas. Center Construction is owned and operated by Scott Snipes and his wife Karen along with their two daughters Channing and Colby. A Christian family, the Snipes run their business with the same values and foundations they were raised with. Rather than focusing on sales, they focus on providing quality workmanship and building a long-term trusting relationship with their customers. Giving a fair price without compromising quality is what differentiates Center Construction from other service providers in the market. Center Construction takes pride in their extensive experience in the field with Scott, himself being in the industry for 42 years. Scott was exposed to this trade at an early age and grew up working for his father and two very good building contractors, where he developed his aptitude for building and his sincerity in servicing the people. Today, Center Construction is true to its mission of sharing enthusiasm for excellence with their subcontractors and their customers, making the state of Texas a better place to live. For the last 14 years and counting, the Snipes have been involved with the American Cancer Societys Relay for Life . Scott has also been the Logistics chair for the last 13 years. Recently, they have been instrumental in starting an annual Barbeque Cook-off to benefit the Relay for Life. This cook-off is sanctioned by the Texas Barbeque Cookers Association and is a Texas State Championship event with the winner sent to the National Cook-off. The family are also active members of the Garland Street Church of Christ in Plainview, Texas.
